| "... i did a painting of Mother Theresa on some plywood and it turned out
really nice... so i looked for a piece of wood to do a painting on and
take around with me. i found this wooden door i liked that had been
sitting in my friend Jason Painters garage for about two and a half
years... thats how the journey of the door began...
"
January 25th - 27th
Keith set up outside the lobby of the Federal Building
in Westwood, Los Angeles, CA... it was kinda funny getting started
because the painting starts with stick figures and smiley faces(see
attachments to see image of the door)...and all these FBI agents going in
and out of the building are looking at me like im some kind of freak cuz
im painting stick figures on a wooden door outside the lobby....ok,
that is odd, but they(FBI) were
smiling....by the second day, the painting style had reached a point
where people were giving compliments and thanking me for being there. Feb 5th
Keith set up with the door at the New Vision Spiritual Growth
Center in
Scottsdale, AZ. for the first viewing of the art exhibit they were having
for the Season of Non-violence. The local NBC new came down and did an
interview for the 6 and 10pm news.

A funding plan was developed to help pay for the journey of the door by
Paul Kostial and his Matrix Society(thematrixsociety.com) with lots of
help from Liz Bradford. 120 slots - $100 each - for which you will get
your name, or whoevers name you would like if you want to purchase more
than one, hand written on the front of the door, along with a signed and
numbered print of the door when its finished in september. The door will
be submitted to several museums including the Smithsonian for a resting
home.
April 17th - 21st
Keith set up and worked on the door in the center
courtyard of the Okaloosa County Court House Annex in Shalimar, FL. Part
of the Sheriffs headquarters are in the complex as well. This got a great
response quite a few court administrators, sheriffs and even a few
judges came by each day to have a look at the progress of the painting and
say hi. The local ABC news and NW Florida Daily News Paper came down for
an interview - please see attachments.
